Engine power is directly related to the rate of incoming and outgoing airflow, and many factory intake systems are highly restrictive, thus limiting engine horsepower and torque. One of the easiest and most inexpensive ways to increase engine response is to replace the stock air cleaner or intake system with our high performance aftermarket product. SupWave's unique high performance air filter systems offer an optimal balance of air filtration and increased airflow for maximum performance and protection.
 
Super Mega Flow
Specifically engineered for turbo applications that require greater flow capacity than naturally aspirated applications, Turbo Exhaust systems use a straight through design. The increased flow characteristics offer a gain in boost pressure, boost response, a broader powerband and increases overall peak horsepower. Performance increases vary by application, with average gains of 10-25 horsepower. 
 
1.8T HI-FLO TURBO AIR INTAKE PIPE

Designed especially for the 1.8T VW engine family by SupWave, our hi-flo design flows 70% more air than the factory air inlet pipe, and gains an extra 5-7hp. To do this, we made the casting larger, made smoother curves, and eliminated the sharp factory bend. Others offer a crude, welded piece that is difficult to fit, but only the SupWave custom aluminum casting has a bolt-on factory-look and perfect fit. Fits all FWD Golf IV, Jetta IV, Beetle, Quattro and FWD 180hp Audi TT 1.8T engines.

 
1.8T INTERCOOLER PIPE

Our special high-flow design is 22% more efficient than the restricted stock component. And the light-weight steel construction of the SupWave ntercooler pipe is an easy bolt-on, C no modifications required.

 
1.8T HI-FLOTURBO DOWN-PIPE

SupWave has improved on the factory down-pipe by eliminating the S bend to a more flowing design, and enlarged the pipe to 60.0mm. The SupWave hi-flo down-pipe is all stainless steel : flange, pipe and flex-joint. The flex joint also has a smooth inner liner to cover the bellows as part of our engineered hi-flo design.

Includes turbo-to-downpipe gasket. You will need to cut off the stock down-pipe, and weld the end of the SupWave down-pipe to the catalytic converter - same as stock set-up. Fits all FWD Golf IV, Jetta IV, Beetle, 180hp Audi TT 1.8T engines.
